Chaos was a goddess born of the original separation of heaven and earth. She filled the gap between the bright mists of the heavenly ether and the base of the earth. Chaos’ father was Chronus, the primordial god of time, and her mother was Ananke, the primordial goddess of inevitability, compulsion, and necessity. Hence, Chaos was the product of Time and
Necessity. We can ask: what is necessary about the chaos at this time in my life?
When we view chaos in a different light, we can see what it is illuminating in our lives. This shift in our perception can create understanding which can allow us to respond to chaos
with new insights about who we are and who we want to be.
